Kilometre Music Group Announces $130M Catalog Investment Milestone Newest Acquisitions Include Taylor Swift’s “Lavender Haze”, “Karma” and The Weeknd’s “Starboy”

Toronto, ON – Today, music publisher Kilometre Music Group announced that its Barometer Global Music Royalty Fund (the Fund) has acquired multiple catalogs including hit singles “Lavender Haze” and “Karma” from the recent GRAMMY winning album of the year by Taylor Swift. The Fund has also bolstered its ownership stake in The Weeknd’s hit songs “Blinding Lights”, “Save Your Tears” and “Earned It” and added The Weeknd’s third most-streamed song “Starboy” to its portfolio. These notable publishing acquisitions have been made from various co-writers and producers of the hit songs. The Fund’s investment in music rights is now over $130 million USD and further solidifies Kilometre Music Group's position as a leading force in modern music publishing.
Additional songs purchased across the new catalog deals include the 1.5 billion streaming hit “Falling” by Trevor Daniel, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “Drowning” and ‘Look Back At It”; Drake’s “Fair Trade”; Kendrick Lamar’s “Silent Hill”, “N95” and “Rich Spirit”, the 2 billion streaming hit “Unforgettable” by French Montana ft. Swae Lee, The Weeknd’s “Lost In the Fire” and “Reminder”, as well as Future’s 2016 hit “Low Life”.

The Barometer Global Music Royalty Fund is available to domestic and international investors and accepts new subscriptions monthly.
